We had our Programme leader and lecturer, Julie O'Sullivan come over to our visual theory lesson, to give us a breif lecture on her background.
Julie O'Sullivan had a powerpoint set up as well and we were given a hard copy of the powerpoint (which was useful.), the powerpoint showed us step by step on how the creative industry sector in the UK. Julie covered the DCMS which stands for Department of Culture, Media and Sports and then the mapping document of 1998, covering the sub-sectors of the economic activity which are advertising, architechture, fashion, design, music, film, computer games. Julie O'Sullivan had also gone in depth with what LE PEST C stands for, and how UK alone has the largest creative sector in Europe!
